Tell him to check the earth contacts on the lights & the adonis <3 switch. If he is relying on the bike is frame as an earth then it may not Registered User be good enough; especially from the handlebars & some of the return Joined: Thursday, 20th of May 2010, 03:59:00 current from the Selected lights is returning via the wiring to the Posts: 659 passive lights (making them flash dimly). This is a common fault with motor vehicle tail lights generally, not just
motorcycles. You will often see badly wired trailers & caravans with
similar symptoms - usually the lights go bananas when the brakes are
applied.
The best cure is to wire up each light with a dedicated ''earth'' lead
that runs straight back to the battery. That way the lights are not using
the machine is frame (with it is articulation at the front forks) as a
current return.
Guaranteed to fix it.
Monkeybuns

LED indicators have a lower current draw then conventional Monkeybuns bulbs. As a result, the flasher unit can not 'see' the indicators Registered User properly and causes them to flash at the wrong speed. Joined: Saturday, 29th of May 2010, 06:06:06 Posts: 979 You will need something called a ''load equaliser'' to cure the problem. Viewed 18334 times This balances out the current and allows the indicators to flash at the
correct speed (some LED indicators actually have built-in load
equalisers).

Wiring fault. He needs to check the earth connections. Just Smalls clamping to the bikes metal may not be enough, probably it needs a pair of Registered User cables to the battery ground point Joined: Monday, 10th of May 2010, 20:21:02 Posts: 1882 Viewed 14426 times
